Julia Mundl, Chair of “Cool Future – Association for Climate Protection”

Julia Mundl is convinced that we can only tackle the overheating of the planet together — drawing on science, agriculture, and an engaged civil society.
For more than ten years, she worked with FOUR PAWS International, leading international campaigns and projects that made an impact at EU level. In particular, through strategic campaigning, advocacy, and international cooperation, she helped shape new standards for animal welfare and traceability in Europe, especially in the fight against the illegal puppy trade.
Driven by the desire to apply her campaign management experience to one of the greatest challenges of our time, she deepened her knowledge of climate change at the University of Vienna and is now studying at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU).
In spring 2026, she founded the association. Cool Future aims to give farmers a stronger voice as credible ambassadors for climate action. They experience the impacts of global heating firsthand, every day, on their fields and farms. Cool Future brings their lived experience together with scientific expertise, creating space for dialogue, understanding, and collective action.
